Joan's Challenge Double Oval

Good Morning Ladies,
It's Friday! The day after the holiday. A bit too many fireworks out here by my house last night. Dude is not too sure about fireworks. He was on the nervous side. They stopped about 10:30 but then started up again about 11. So I was up until it quieted down. During that time I made a card for Joan's Challenge Double Oval
Here is the link to this weeks challenge... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2013/07/this-weeks-challenge.html
The challenge requirements this week are as follows:
Use a plain background
Use a double oval
Use a sentiment
Use any colors (at least two)
Use something you can purchase at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
Here is my card....
I picked out my oval dies first. I don't have many ovals. I don't know why but I seem to favor circles. I will have to make a note to get more oval dies. The lower oval is cut from pink textured cardstock. I used the Cheery Lynn die Polynesian Sails oval DL153. I purchased this die from Joan. The oval on top is cut from pale blue cardstock using the Spellbinders die set Labels Ten . You can purchase spellbinders at Joans. These ovals sit on solid light blue cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and oval shape in the center of my top oval. These images are from See D's. I don't even know if that company is still in business. I added three roses at the bottom of the ovals that were created with a Sizzix die. To keep in the soft look of this card I added the Memory Box die Woodland Branch 98187 cut in light brown. I purchased this die from Joan. Sitting on the branch is the Nestled Bird die 817 in the same blue cardstock as the blue rose. I also purchased this die at Joans. I added blue rhinestones to the center oval for just a little bit of bling.
This is the inside of the card.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog

I don't have many ovals either, and I seem to prefer the rectangles. BUT I had forgotten I had that set of oval tags that you shared. Thank you for the inspiration!!! LOVE the card and especially the filigree edged mat you used.

Lori, this is so pretty. I really like it a lot and you made very good use of the ovals you have.
Thanks for joining us again at Joan's Gardens for our weekly challenge.
