Pink and White Wedding

Good Morning Ladies,
I am so excited about all the new Sue Wilson dies that are coming out! So pretty!
The card for today is Pink and White Wedding
I am trying to get some wedding cards made for the shoppes. The inspiration for this card was the burgandy Creative Expressions die. Pink and white card stock was used to create this card. The bow however was created from stiff backed felt. I wanted to see how this would work and it worked fantastic. The bow was cut from a Creative Expressions die. The ferns were cut from a Memory Box die. The daisies were cut from a FSJ die. the rest of the dies are Sue Wilson's Creative Expressions dies. Pearl sprigs peek out from underneath the flowers. The The center of the center die is popped up as well as the oval sentiment. The sentiment is from Just Rite Stamps.

Graphics 45 woodburning

Good Morning Ladies,
I turned in early last  night. After a long day at work I went to a friends house and took a barn hunt lesson. What fun I had with my friends and their dogs.
The card for today is Graphics 45 woodburning
This card was inspired by the balsa wood burning ship piece. You see my dad love auctions. He buys all kinds of things. He shares these things with his kids. So he purchased and old wood set and gave it to me. It has this ship in it already done. I knew it had to go on a project. I imagine some child did this piece. I looked around and found that the Graphics 45 By the Sea pad was the perfect match. The anchor is a die by Kelly Purkey from Simon Says Stamp. The card base is from a pack from Create and Craft.
This is the sentiment on the front.
 A close-up of the ship.

Woodpecker

Good Morning Ladies,
It was way too chilly last night. I am still waiting for warm weather.
The card for today is Woodpecker
This card was created with a woodpecker bird image that my sister gave me for my birthday. It is an unmounted image with no company on the back. It was stamped on a tan background and then colorized with watercolor crayons. The edges of the panel were inked. The side strip was created using a Hero Arts bird print stamp. The edges of this border strip were also inked. A natural feather tops this card off.

Purple and White Bride and Groom

Good Morning Ladies,
The weekend seemed to go fast. I did get a lot of things done that needed to be done though.
The card for today is Purple and White Bride and Groom
This card took a bit to create, but was worth it. I started out with a D'sire embossing folder. I have not used many embossing folders in the past but am falling in love with them now. The die cuts are from a Create and Craft couture die set. The sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations. The flowers were created using a FSJ daisy die set. Pearl sprigs peek out from beneath the flowers. Love ribbon tops this card off.
 A close-up of the sentiment.

 A close-up of the flowers.
This is the inside of the card. The gate and fence is a die from Spellbinders. The pop out humming birds is from Create and Craft the songbird collection. I was surprised how easy this pop out die went into the card. The Sentiments are from Heartfelt Creations and Just Rite stamps.

Dog Talk Birthday

Good Morning Ladies,
I am a little late on the take this morning. Thanks to my friend I am hooked on Create and Craft. So many awesome crafting goodies.
The card for today is Dog Talk Birthday
This card was created using a Sizzix Flip-It card die. The card base was cut from red card stock and the layers are cut from dog print paper from TPS. The dog image is from SU. It was colorized using watercolor crayons. A ribbon tied on the side tops this card off.

A close-up of the dog image.
This is the flip side. The sentiment is from SU same set. The paws were cut from an old thick Sizzix die. This is my favorite paw die.

Cutie Mother's Day

Good Morning Ladies,
Looks like a day of creating for me. I do have to take a bunch of cards down to the Co-op Shoppes this morning.
The card for today is Cutie Mother's Day
This card started with the vintage German embossed cutie kid. I thought she was so sweet she needed a home on a Mother's Day card. The card base and the layer is from the paper cut. I took the layer and ran it through a cuttle bug embossing folder to give it texture. The flower was created using a FSJ die set. The tag die cut is from Sue Wilson's Creative Expressions. The sentiment is and image from CTMH. A pearl sprig peeks out from behind the flower.
A close-up of the tag.
A close-up of the flower.
This is the inside sentiment. Also from CTMH.

Creative Expressions Cameo Horses

Good Morning Ladies,
It is a bit chilly out this morning and someone turned the heat off in the house. So it was a little hard to sleep as I was cold all night. I thought it was just me. I guess I should have gotten up and checked the furnace.
The card for today is Creative Expressions Cameo Horses
I have been falling in love with the Creative Expressions dies. I have also been watching a lot of Sue Wilson  on you tube and create and craft. What fun these dies are. Of course I have tons of other dies so I will be using them all together. The card base is pre-cut and a product from create and craft. A blue layer was cut with a Creative Expressions die. With the same die set the opening was stacked with the layering dies. The big blue layer was popped up from the card. A cameo with horses was added. The cameo is from Webster's Pages. As I have said before I love cameos. A Creative Expressions border die was used on the side. The flower dies are from FSJ. I created three layered flowers for this card. Crystal sprigs peek out from behind the flowers.

Happy Tails Agility Aussie

Good Morning Ladies,
It has cooled down here again. And yes yesterday it snowed. I was not amused to say the least. It was not the ground sticking kind but all the same it was snow.
The card for today is Happy Tails Agility Aussie
This card was inspired by the agility aussie going through the tire jump. This image is from Dog Stamps Plus. It was stamped on Bristol paper, colorized with watercolor crayons, and hand cut. The blue was run through the die machine using a De'sire embossing folder. A Happy Tails ribbon was tied at the bottom.
A close-up of the ribbon.

A view to show the popping.
This is the inside sentiment. It is from a CTMH clear set.

Spirit Wolf

Good Morning Ladies,
I am having a late week this week. It seems that time is getting away from me each day.
The card for today is Spirit Wolf
This card was inspired by the Sue Coccia Earth Art Wolf stamp. These stamps are so unique. If you look close you will see other animals and earth things in it. The wolf was stamped on Bristol paper and colorized with watercolor crayons. The birch tree background was created using a Memory Box stencil. Andirondak ink in three colors was sponged over the stencil. The word spirit is handwritten along the side. Beads create stars in the sky. This card is blank inside.
A close-up of the wolf.
The wolf is popped up with pop dots.

You're the Best Flip-It

Good Evening Ladies,
I know I am really late today. Last night went fast and the early morning went faster. So here I am.
The card for today is You're the Best Flip-It
This is another Mother's Day card. This time for the younger set. The card base, the dsp panels, and the scalloped circles were cut with a Sizzix flip-it die set. The front sentiment and flip side sentiment are from two different CTMH sets. The butterflies are from my stash.
A close-up of the front sentiment.
This is the flip side of the card. The young girl image is from Kenny K.

Hinged Card Box

Good Morning Ladies,
It's Monday! Time to get this week started. I am hoping it will be a creative day.
The project for today is a  Hinged Card Box
This box was created for a dog show raffle. It will contain 13 handmade cards.
This hinged box started as a Satin Mache' box. I added layers of 3D metallic stamp paint with natural sea sponges. It doesn't show in the photos but it has a shine to it. I added a Vintage German embossed lady cut to it. I then started to build a floral piece around it. The ferns were cut with a Memory Box die. The gold flowers were cut from a FSJ die. They were shaped and layered with liquid pearls for the centers. The other flower was created using a Cheery Lynn Design die. It was also shaped and layered. Flat back roses and pearl flowers were tucked in. A pearl sprig peeks out from behind the flowers. A bow graces the top corner. Pearls in each corner top this box off.

Vintage Embossed Mother's Day

Good Morning Ladies,
Wow, I slept in til 6 this morning. Not what I wanted to do. But now I am up and my day has started.
The card for today is Vintage Embossed Mother's Day
This card was inspired by the background that I created. A piece of Bristol paper was covered with a stencil and Ferro paste in gold was applied with a palette knife. The stencil was then pulled away. It created nice texture. The lady is a vintage German embossed cut. She is very pretty. Buttons and flowers were added. The banner at the top is cut from a Sizzix banner and stamp set. The sentiment is from a CTMH set.
A close-up of the banner.
A close-up of the flowers and buttons.
This is the inside sentiment. Also from the same CTMH set.
