Moose Sympathy

Good Morning Ladies,
I am up and posting early. I am off to a dog event this morning. It is a couple of hours away and in a different time zone so I am up before the crack of dawn.
The card for today is Moose Sympathy
This card was created using a moose stamp from Creative Vision. Yes I love their stamps. He was stamped on digital cardstock from Marco's Paper. I had purchased that cheap set of markers so I thought I would see how they on the digital cardstock. I think they worked out pretty good. The moose was then cut out from the body up. The light patterned cardstock is from my old stash. The sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations.
This is the inside sentiment also from Heartfelt Creations.

Creative Vision Tiger

Good Morning Ladies,
The camper is off and gone this morning getting winterized. The dog show camping season is over for me. The weather is getting cooler and I can feel the change of the seasons.
The card for today is Creative Vision Tiger
This card was created using a stalking tiger image from Creative Vision. This is one of their stamp sets that comes with two sizes of the tiger for a great price. I am still working with the stamps I purchased at the Fort Wayne stamp show. He is stamped on watercolor paper and is colorized with watercolor crayons. He was then cut with a Spellbinders die set as well as the mats underneath him. I made use of some of the washi tape I have across the corners.
A close-up of the tiger.
This is the inside sentiment. The sentiment is from Technique Junkies. The paw print is from Hero Arts. It is their paw prints collection. And yes more washi tape.
A close-up of the sentiment.

Whimsy Dog Merriest Wishes

Good Morning Ladies,
The dogs are up and wandering around seeing what kind of trouble they can get into this morning. We had a puppy visitor overnight and I hardly knew he was here he was so quiet.
I have been doing mostly watercolor lately. So I have purchased a pan watercolor set and tube watercolors and will be exploring watercolors.
The card for today is Whimsy Dog Merriest Wishes
This card was created using a Whimsy stamp image of a cute dog with a bow. Why not turn him into a Christmas dog. He was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolor crayons. He was then hand cut. The cardstock that covers the card base and the panel of trees he sits on is from a DCWV Christmas stack from my stash.  A white ribbon with gold dots tops this card off.

Halloween On The Farm

Good Morning Ladies,
I am having trouble with the computer again this morning. I think I am good to go now.
The card for today is Halloween On The Farm
I have had the spooky scene portion of this card done for a year. It has been sitting on the shelf. I was happy with the scene when I stamped it but could not figure out what to do with it. I purchased a Stampin' Up set off of face book and it worked well with the scene. The skeleton and rat are from that Stampin' Up set. They are stamped on watercolor paper and the rat is colorized with watercolor crayons. The barn scene was stamped on glossy card stock and colorized with dye inks. I don't know what company the barn is from because that stamp belongs to a friend. The rest of the stamps in the scene are from Stampscapes.
A close-up of the rat.
This is the inside sentiment from a Martha Stewart stamp set.

Penny Black Doggone Sweet

Good Morning Ladies,
It has been a bit of a rough week with Miss Windy being sick. I think today she looks a little better. I am still working with images I purchased at the stamp show.
The card for today is Penny Black Doggone Sweet
The image and sentiment are from Penny Black. I can't believe I almost missed this set at the stamp show. The booth it was in was very busy all day. So I had avoided it. They were doing a demo on Inka Gold. I wanted my friend to see the Inka Gold so we went in. And lo and behold this dog set was staring me right in the face. It was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolor crayons. The dog bone paper is from my stash as well as the dog print ribbon.
A close up of the dog.

Expecting Kangaroo

Good Afternoon Ladies,
I was MIA this past weekend but am now back.
The card for today is Expecting Kangaroo
This card was created using the kangaroo from the Local King Rubber Stamp company. This set is called Good Day Mate. I used the technique I learned at the make and take at the Local King Rubber Stamp booth. They told me any water based markers could be used. I purchased a cheap set of markers at Hobby Lobby. They worked just fine. I added little eyes I picked up at the Cracker Box Palace booth. The grass is an image from VLVS. The wheat image is from an unknown company. The background was stippled with Andirodak ink. A sun was stippled in using a Sheena Douglass stencil.
 A close-up of the kangaroo.
The inside sentiment is from a Gina Marie clear set.

Glitter Fairy Tag

Good Morning Ladies,
It is Friday already. I am going to have some dog fun tonight and then a cleaning and creating weekend.
The project for today is Glitter Fairy Tag
This tag started with the glossy tag as a base. The mushrooms were stamped next. They are from Creative Vision. Two sizes sold together the smaller image was used. The mushrooms were colorized using makeup sponges and ink. The background tag was stippled. The fairy is from recollections. It was stamped next. Only a portion of the fairy was stamped so she could sit on the mushroom. The flowers at the bottom of the mushrooms, the fairy wings and the fairy skirt were covered in stickles.  Fiber was tied at the top.

Bear at Snowy Brook

Good Morning Ladies,
I have been diving into my new stash from the stamp show and having all kinds of fun. Don't you just love new things to play with.
The card for today is Bear at Snowy Brook
The bear is from Creative Visions. I picked this up at the stamp show. This is a new company to me and I think it is the greatest one I have come upon recently. A lot of their stamps come with two sizes in the set. And the prices are out of this world. A real deal!!! The bear was stamped on watercolor paper. He was then masked. The snowy brook was stamped next. It is from Stampscapes. The lightening image was stamped next. I used it as bare tree branches. It is also from Stampscapes. The mask was removed and the scene was colorized using watercolor crayons. Art Institute glue was added and FSJ glitter was sprinkled over the glue. A perfect winter scene.
This is the inside sentiment by Whimsical Designs.

Gina Marie Howling Wolf

Good Morning Ladies,
We have had two misty days in a row. I think they must have inspired me to create. I have been diving into some of the things that I got at the stamp show.
When I got to the Gina Marie booth my friends had picked out this die for me. They were dead on. I love it. It was cut out of black cardstock. It was then backed with a circle I cut with a Sizzix thin-lits die set. I went about making a background for this die. The background was stippled with a dark blue ink. Next Stampscapes pine trees were stamped. Viva Decor 3-D stamp paint in white was sponge on with the sponge tool I purchased the past year at the stamp show. The sentiment is also from Gina Marie.
 A close-up of the sentiment.
This is the inside of the card. This sentiment is from the same Gina Marie set.

Sheena Douglass Deer Stencil

Good Morning Ladies,
It was a pretty dreary day yesterday. I did not get much done. I had a lot of good intentions just no gumption.
The card for today is  Sheena Douglass Deer Stencil
This card was created using the Sheena Douglass Deer Stencil. Only a portion of the stencil was used. It was stippled with Adarondak Ink. The stencil first and then the background. The sentiment is from Stampscapes. The paper that covers the card base looks like marble. This paper is from my stash and probably from the first scrapbook paper I ever purchased.
This is the inside sentiment from Gina Marie and the deer is another part of the Sheena stencil.

Local King Rubber New Car

Good Morning Ladies,
I think I have recovered from the stamp show. Yesterday I worked the dog show.
I decided to use the only make and take I did at the stamp show and make a card out of it. So the card for today is Local King Rubber New Car
Local King Rubber has new reverse stamps. That is where the car is from. You color on the stamp in your lightest color first. Next you take your darker color and color splotches on the stamp. You then add black dots at random. Then you stamp. You use water based markers to color with. Any brand will work. I think it is a really cool look. I did not buy this set but bought another. The sentiment is from Gina Marie stamps. Another buy I made at the stamp show. She has amazing sentiment sets.
A close-up of the car.
This is also a sentiment from the same Gina Marie set.
A close-up of the sentiment.

Sheena Douglass Fall Chickens

Good Morning Ladies,
We had a great time at the stamp show in Fort Wayne, IN yesterday. The show was smaller this year, but we still found plenty we just had to have. I thought I was coming home and creating, but when I got here I was very tired and my head was swimming with ideas.
The card for today is Sheena Douglass Fall Chickens
This card was created using the Sheena Douglass A Little Bit Sketchy collection. The bare tree is a different set from the kids with the chickens. The scene was stamped using watercolor paper and Archival ink. It was colorized using watercolor crayons. Extra grass was added along the bottom.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
