Monkey Flip Card

Good Morning Ladies,
The snow went around us. That was a good thing. But the cold temps are back. Ahhh.....the dream of spring dances around in my head. I am tired of winter.
I have another simple card for you that I created the same craft day as the reindeer card. Again it is a simple card. Monkey Flip Card ....
This flip card was created using a Sizzix flip card die. I love the flip card dies. They make a cool card quick. The monkey image is from Clear Dollar Stamps. He is stamped on Bristol paper cut with a spellbinders die set. He is colorized using Prisma pencil and Gamsol. The edges of the card were created with a Martha Stewart border punch. The red heart that peeks out from behind is also from a spellbinders die set.
 A close-up of the monkey.
The card flipped open with a sentiment from The Stamps of Life. If you haven't yet, you need to join the club. If you do join the club make sure you become a die hard member.

Red Rubber Designs Reindeer

Good Morning Ladies,
I am back in the swing of things for dog training. So the busy season begins.
I went to a craft day on Saturday with friends at the library. Of course it was great food, great conversation and a wee bit of craftyness.
My card for today was created on Saturday. Red Rubber Designs Reindeer card. And here it is....
A simple card for sure. We all agreed not to haul too much stuff to the event. The reindeer was stamped on Bristol paper with memento ink. He was then colorized with Prisma pencil and Gamsol. Cut with a spellbinder die that was then inked with brown ink. The background cardstock is from my stash. Framed out with a layer of solid brown cardstock. This is a 5 1/2 inch by 5 1/2 inch square card.
The inside of the card follows the same design. The sentiment stamp is from The Stamps of Life.

Just Rite Journal

Good Morning Ladies,
I have been making flowers like wildfire. I need to get working on all the projects I have piling up. And I have new stamps to work with. January is always a down month for me. The creative juices seem to not want to flow.
Today I do have a Just Rite Journal that I created this week. The Just Rite background stamp is a new one I ordered over the holidays. Here it is....
The Just Rite background stamps are big. I stamped it on Bristol paper using black Memento Ink. It was then colorized with Prisma pencil and Gamsol. I then tore it and inked the edges with brown chalk ink. I added an Aussie head to the journal stamp. This image is from Dog Stamps Plus. He was stamped and colorized the same way as the journal background stamp. My journal base is a comp book. The background cardstock is from my stash. With the all over purebred design I thought it went well with my Aussie dog. A ribbon was attached to the spine to create a self bookmark.

The bookmark ribbon.

Heartfelt Creations Candy Sticks

Good Evening Ladies,
It has been a long time since I have blogged. Sorry about that. I am getting back into the swing of things after the holidays. My holidays were wonderful and full of extra bussiness....
My card for today is Heartfelt Creations Candy Sticks
This card was sitting on my table waiting to be put together since late November. I finally got to it. The zebra is from old stash. He is stamped in versa mark and embossed in black. His white is covered in crystal laquer. The tag was created with dylusion sprays and glimmer mist. The candy sticks are from a Heartfelt Creations stamp set. They are stamped with black memento ink. Colorized with Copic Markers and glittered with stickles on the white. A sheer purple bow ties them together. The background paper is the corrigated paper from DCWV.
