Outlines flower 2

Good Afternoon,
Happy Trick or Treat!
This is the second flower I created using the outlines flower stamps. I stamped them on plain white card stock. I colorized them using watercolor pencils and mica pallets. I curled the petals using a knitting needle. I can't wait for cafe' crop to get the next shipment of these stamps.
My husband is totally amazed by his mulching mower. No leaves to rake this fall!!
I made a trip to cafe' crop yesterday. I was jonesing for some more radiant rain. LOL I can't get enough of the stuff. I also picked up some of the new tim holtz christmas embossing folders. Along with some other goodies.
Well off to walk Windy...

Vintage Wedding Card

Good Morning,
The high winds around here have been crazy. We are all safe and sound here. My sis had a tree fall on her fence yesterday. And I know others have had wind damage too. I hope all is safe in your corner of the world.
Today I bring you a vintage wedding card. The checked background, the butterfly strip and the bride are from Graphics 45. The embossed piece is one of the new Tim Holtz embossing folders. I used a radiant rain dabber to highlight it. The pearls are from Kaiser. I can't tell you where I got the charm it has been so long ago. The groom is from River City Rubber Works. The lace is out of my stash. This card front could also be used in a vintage scrapbook.
I still get up at five and create everyday. This seems to set the tone of the day for me. It lets the child out to play before I step into the adult world.

outlines flower

Good Morning,
I went to a crop of sorts this weekend at the New Carlisle library in Indiana. It was a free crop and used stamp sale. I had a great time and bought a little. For those of you who live close this is the new place to be. They have all kinds of crafting things going on there. Call and check out their events!
While I was there I created some handmade flowers. I hang out at the more paper than shoes forum here on the net and they make some wonderful handmade flowers and inspired me to try. Here is my first result...
This flower was created using the Tim Holtz grunge paper, radiant rain, black staz-on ink, blue crystals, and outlines flower stamps. This was fun to create. It is kinda bulky...so I'm thinking shadow box or board book.
I bought the outline flower stamps at cafe' crop in crown point, Indiana. The radiant rain came from there also.
Yesterday I spent the whole day shopping for a costume for Sam. What a long day. He is going to be a hippie, his long hair works well for this. My oldest sis went with me and we had a great time.
Well....off to get ready for my day job...

Flapper Tag

Good Morning,
For those of you who know me well, you know I love the graphics 45 paper. I created this tag using that paper. (I know some of you have this at home) I added a butterfly from the melting pot, lace, a feather, and two kinds of trim. This was very fun to make.
The lineup for my day today....take calvin to an appt.,lesson with Windy, take Calvin to appt. Sounds exciting huh? Well also to my list is laundry and creating.
I wonder what will grab me next in my craft room. I will have to go down and look around or maybe just sit at the table a bit.
Fall is my favorite time of year. The bugs go away....the weather is cooler....hikes in the woods start up again. Fall seems quite and calm to me after a very busy summer.
Sam is off school for fall break so no getting him up this morning....

Dragonfly hang tag

Good Morning,
I had a lot of fun creating this hang tag. The tag base was created using radiant rain daubers I picked up at Cafe' Crop in Crown Point, IN. I added prima flowers from the flower tower. The cute little dragonfly is from sparkle and sprinkle. I colorized him with brush markers, glitter, and crystal laquer. He is triple pop dotted to raise him up above the flowers. I added two ribbons for the tassel.
For those of you who live close to me, I hope you have time to run up to Crown Point and check out Cafe' Crop. It is a wonderful scrapbook store with many exciting items to add to your creative studio.

Trick or Treat Vampire

Good Morning,
It's that time of year again....when all the ghouls come out to collect their candy. I created this layout using the new martha stewart transparencies. I just love them. they have the adhesive already on the back. No fuss ...no mess. I also used two inkadinkado stamps, a sizzix ghost, and the bat punch from ek success. This layout was fun and fast!
I have my living room all finished and put back together. Now to hunt out some moose and bear stuff for accent pieces.

Good Morning,
For those of you with cricuts this is a cricut wolf my mom cut for me with the drawing pens. The line of trees are stamped and embossed. I added flower soft white diamond for the snow. This was a fun hang tag to make.
My duties today include finishing the paint job in the living room and cleaning out the inside of my van. Dog crates will be pulled and everything. My son is then going to detail the inside for me. What a job!
I think I am going to attempt to make a big pot of potato soup today too. I don't know how that will go. LOL

be with those who help your being

I created this card with the stampington grape vine wreath. I embossed the image, colorized it with brush markers and cut it out. Then I took small sheer ribbon and wrapped the wreath. I added leaves and prima flowers. I put the puppy on top, because we all know I love dogs. The quote in the middle is one I truly believe in.

Happy Birthday hang tag

Good Morning,
Being on the hang tag team over at the more paper than shoes forum has got my creative juices flowing again for hang tags. I am having great fun creating! This simple Happy Birthday tag was fun to create.
I find the more my sister's store has been closed the more I am having a hard time remembering all the different stamp companies.
I did have a super friend of mine pick up a couple of Motivet stamps for me at the last convention. Thanks Judy! This is a company I have not had stamps from before and am looking forward to using them.

Live out loud

Good Evening,
I created this tag using art institute glitter on the flowers and leaves. I also added crystal laquer on top of the glittered flowers. The butterfly was created using the melting pot, a tiny cutter, the extra thick embossing powder, and the color dyes. I am here to live out loud was stamped and embossed. The gal was cut from an atc book. Outlines stickers added to the corners and a ribbon tied for the tassel. This was fun to create and I am here to live out loud loving each day.
Windy and I had a great day at the dog show. We came home with 3 first places,3 high in division, and the high in trial. What a great dog I have!

mermaid tile card

This is a mermaid faux tile card. To create this card I used a piece of glossy card stock. I used my scorepal to create the tile lines. I then stamped the mermaid image and seaweed. I colorized it with die inks. I created this card at the start of my scene stamping. I now love to scene stamp and am a big fan of stampscapes.

Halloween Card

Good Morning,

Here is a card I created using a Halloween set of stamps from Sunday International. I think Halloween is one of the most fun crafting holidays. The weather is feeling like fall today.
I have been painting my living room. I did two different colors on the walls and boy was it a job. Today I am going to put it all back together.
