Princess Goodbye

Good Morning Ladies,
This is going to be a busy week. Too much to do! I am headed out this coming weekend to the Fort Wayne stamp show to see what's new. It is a camping trip also. Can't wait for all the fun with my friends.
the card for today is Princess Goodbye
This card started with the prince and princess on the winged horse. It is from a project I worked on a long time ago. It is an image from Stampington as well as the sentiment. It is embossed and colorized with mica paints from US Art Quest. It sits on a piece of black cardstock embossed with a Sheena embossing folder from Crafters Companion. The embossed piece was swiped with white ink.
This is the inside sentiment from CTMH.

Utility Glove Malamute Thank You

Good Morning Ladies,
I had a good weekend. Lots of creating and lots of laundry done. It was an easy weekend with no big rushing around. I am working on a card order. Today I am sharing one of the cards with you.... Utility Glove Malamute Thank You
I will give you a little info otherwise this card will make no sense at all. In dog obedience competition we have an excercise where the dog has to retrieve a glove. There are three gloves across the back of the ring and the dog is directed which glove to bring back to the handler. Now on with the card. I purchased the garden glove stamp sometime back. I don't know what company it is from but knew it would be perfect for dog cards. It was stamped on a tan textured cardstock and hand cut. I had to order a couple of new Malamute stamps from Dog Stamps Plus. If you need dog stamps that is the place to shop as they have many great depictions of different breeds. I stamped the Malamute on watercolor paper. It was then colorized with Stampin' Up watercolor crayons. It was also handcut. The sentiment is from Motivet Stamps. CTMH cardstock covers the base of the card.
This is the inside sentiment. This is a clear stamp by CTMH.

Joan's Fall Challenge

Good Morning Ladies,
I spent a good portion of yesterday creating cards for the order I have and I created a card for Joan's Fall Challenge .
Here is the link to the challenge... http://www.joanstouch.com/ Check in and see all of the challenge cards and join us in the challenge.
The requirements this week are as follows:
Do a fall theme
Alter things you have already cut and used.
Use an embossed background.
Use a product that can be purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
Here is my card...
Nothing to me says fall like Halloween. Halloween cards are so much fun to create! So I have a lot of Halloween stuff left over from other projects past. The skeleton, pumpkins, and moon are my left over pieces. The pumpkins were stamped in a row so I cut them apart so they could be used each on their own. The pumpkins, skeleton, and moon are from Sunday International. This company in no longer in business. Back when I stamped these things I always embossed everything. So these are embossed. The pumpkins are popped up. The embossing folder I used is from Darice. It is called googly eyes. I inked the embossed panel with lime green cat's eye ink. I believe Terri can order this for you over at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ . The bats are cut from Memory Box die Swooping Bats #98409. This set of dies was purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ . A ribbon graces the bottom of this card.
This is the inside sentiment with another pumpkin.
Once again thanks Joan for another great challenge!
Now to go see what I can do with some of the others things I found in my not used bread pans.

CTMH Charmed Halloween

Good Morning Ladies,
I have been taking it easy this morning. Now I have to kick it in gear. Joan has a new challenge up and I have a card order for 12 thank you cards to create.
The card for today is CTMH Charmed Halloween
This is a simple card but I love the new Halloween paper from CTMH. So I wanted to be able to show it off under my stamped panel. The panel is stamped with a CTMH image from last year's collection. And it is a perfect match to this years collection. I love how they work it that way.
This is the inside sentiment.

Magnolia Fall

Good Morning Ladies,
We are headed into the weekend. I will be stamping and creating of course but I will also be working on the garage. So you never know what will turn up at my booth at the Co-op Shoppes when I do that.
The card for today is Magnolia Fall
This card started with the little girl with the lamb. This is a Magnolia stamp. I have a handful of Magnolia stamps and I must say they are some of my favorites. She was stamped on a watercolor paper panel. She was then masked and the twigs image from Stampscapes was stamped over her several times to cover the background. The panel was then colorized using Stampin' Up watercolor crayons. This panel was matted on brown cardstock. Fall text cardstock covers the card base. Rolled flowers in cream and brown grace the corner of the card. The flowers were created using a Sizzix die, and two Memory Box dies.
This is the inside sentiment.

A close-up of the stamped image.

Misty Fairy

Good Morning Ladies,
It's a chilly one out this morning but is suppose to get warmer as the day goes on. Supper was good last night. We had bacon and pancakes.
The card for today is Misty Fairy
This card started with the panel that was stamped on. I am always willing to try something I have never tried before. The panel is watercolor paper. My mind wondered what would happen if I used sprays on watercolor paper. I must say I am pleased with the results. I sprayed the panel with purple Dylusions ink spray first. I blotted that with a paper towel. While the panel was still wet I sprayed it with Sea Glass Glimmer Mist. The two combined to a pretty purple shimmer. Once this was dry the Fairy, mushrooms, and sentiment was stamped. The fairy set is by Recollections. It is a clear set. The flower in the corner was created using a black eyed Susan die from Cheery Lynn. A black pearl sprig was tucked under the flower. A sheer ribbon graces the bottom.
A close-up of the fairy panel.
The inside sentiment is by CTMH.

CTMH Halloween Greetings Broom

Good Morning Ladies,
I had a good night at dog training last night. Dude did  very well and I had a great time.
While I was at the scrap this past weekend I picked up a couple of things from Kathy Anderson from CTMH. Of course my plans now are to use what I buy pronto. So my card for today is CTMH Halloween Greetings Broom.
This card was created using the new stamp set Halloween Greetings and the new Halloween cardstock pack from CTMH. The night before the scrap I was cruising through the catalog and had decided I wanted these two things but thought it was too late to order because Halloween is right around the corner. But low and behold when I got to the scrap Kathy Anderson had these things in stock. So I did the happy dance and took them home with me.
This is the inside sentiment.

Deer in the Pines

Good Morning Ladies,
I have a good time with friends yesterday. Now I didn't get much done but what's new. I used one of the WeR Memory Makers punch boards and made a candy popper. I need to practice at making these. I spent the rest of the time making flowers which I was low on.
The card for today is Deer in the Pines...
This card was started using two A Muse art stamp images. The panel is Bristol paper. The deer was stamped first. Then a mask was cut from Eclipse tape and placed over the deer. The trees were stamped and then the mask was removed. The panel was sponged with Tim Holtz distressed inks. The sentiment was then stamped at the top. The sentiment is from Stampscapes. This panel was matted in green and placed on a striped paper from My Minds Eye.

Stampin' Up Giraffe tag

Good Morning Ladies,
I am off to a crop/stamp day today. I'm still not sure what I am taking to work on but I think it will be flowers. The rain is still coming down here. So this seems like the perfect indoor day.
Today I have a Stampin' Up Giraffe tag for you...
This tag was created using a giraffe image from a Stampin' Up wood mounted set. It was stamped in yellow Tim Holtz distressed ink. The whole tag was sponged with a brown Tim Holtz distressed ink. The sentiment was stamped using memento black ink. The leaf image is from Stampscapes and is stamped in a green Tim Holtz ink. A piece of kitchen string was added for the tie.

Joan's Touch Vintage Challenge

Good Morning Ladies,
I did not get a chance to blog yesterday. It seemed to be a long week. I am not up to par quite yet.
I did get up at 4:30 this morning and start creating my card for Joan's Touch Vintage Challenge.
You can see and enter the challenge here http://www.joanstouch.com/
The requirements this week are as follows:
Do a vintage theme
Distress the edges
Add several layers
Here is the link to Joan's Gardens http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
And here is my card.....
First I should explain that Barn Hunt is a dog competition. This card started with the Darice embossing folder. It is perfect for barn hunt. The brown layer of cardstock covers the card base. Next is a green layer that I distressed with my scissors being that I have lost my Tim Holtz distressing tool one more time. I then added the embossed layer. It is natural card stock underneath. I sponged brown Memento ink over it to make the rats stand out better. The rat stamp is from La Blanch stamps. This stamp was purchased at Joan's Gardens. It is stamped on La Blanch paper and is colorized with Tim Holtz distressed ink in the colors of Vintage Photo, Old Paper, and Pumice Stone. Tim Holtz products can be purchased at Joan's Gardens. The edges of this panel were inked and torn. The dog was cut from a piece of cardstock in my stash. A small tag was sponged with Tim Holtz distressed ink and barn hunt was handwritten with a white paint pen. Kitchen string was tied to it. The rolled roses were created using a Sizzix die and Graphics 45 paper. A black flatback flower and a pearl sprig was added to the flower grouping.
A close-up of the embossing folder image.
 A close-up of the flowers.
This is the inside sentiment.
Glad to have Joan's challenges back!! Thanks Joan!!

Today the card is Rubber Cottage Fox
This card started with the fox. He was stamped on Bristol paper with black Memento ink. Two Stampscapes images were stamped around the edge of the panel. Tim Holtz distressed ink was used to colorize the panel. The panel was then matted with two cardstocks and the card base was covered in a shimmer paper. A Memory Box viney leaf was added at the bottom. On top of the leaf a Tim Holtz rosette was place. I purchased this fox at the Fort Wayne stamp show last year. I needed to use it as the stamp show is coming up quickly.
The inside sentiment is from Stampscapes.

Good Morning Ladies,
I am counted among the living today! I think I am on the mend. I took yesterday off and did nothing except to rest.

This card started with the Sizzix Triple Circle Flip-It die. I love the flip-it dies. They make card making easy peasy. This card base was cut from natural cardstock. The extra pieces were cut from a tone on tone map paper. Then the stamping began. The moose, bear, acorn, and evergreens were stamped on the circles. These images along with the leave images are from a wood mounted set by Mementa. A friend bought these for me at Tuesday Mornings. The circle edges were inked in brown cat's eye ink. The image wonderful U is from a CTMH set. The front sentiment is from Impression Obsession. The Happy birthday sentiment is from TPC. This made a great manly card.
