Good Morning Ladies,
I have been working on some nature cards. The weather has not been great so I am bringing nature inside through stamping. It is working wonders for me. But I still can't wait to get out and start hiking again.
Here is a card I have created..... I used an Art Impression lion. I colorized him with color pencil and Gamsol. The ink is momento black on the Lion and the quote is vivid dye ink. The quote is from Stampscapes. They have wonderful nature quote sets. The background layer is handmade paper from Africa. To top this card off I added beads and spiral clips suspended from fine jute cord.
The lion speaks to strength and courage. Something I need on a daily basis. I find it soothing to create with animal stamps. They really speak to me.

Happy Thursday

Good Evening Ladies,
I feel like I have not been very productive today. I have spent a lot of time on the computer. I have listed a few things in my artfire store today. So I guess I did do something.

Here is a card I have created.....

I created this card using stamps from Lindy's Stamp Gang. They have the coolest stamps and they are a bargin price. This is colorize with Copic markers.

Supper is going to be simple tonight. I am using loin chops that I cooked at a previous date and froze. They are thawed now. So some potatoes and a veggie and I'm all set. Well off to get that ready...

Happy Wednesday!

Good Morning Ladies,
I am ready for the cold to go away anytime. I'm ready to go hiking with Windy and enjoying the great outdoors again. I want to take my new camera out for a spin too! I am enjoying the longer daylight already. Outdoor activity creates inspiration also.
Here is a card I created....
This is direct to paper stamping. The stamps are from Local King rubber. A fun set and easy to use. The only addition I used on this card was googly eyes and a eyelet on the inside. Hobby Lobby has some great googly eyes that look like they are winking. Always a fun addition to any stamping project.

Art Fire store

Good Afternoon Ladies,
I have a new artfire store that I am stocking. The name of my studio is mrsswandogscreations at

Here is one of the cards I have listed....

I sent craftaholic her blog candy this morning. I hope she gets it soon.

I have been working with prisma pencils and gamsol as of late. Here is a card I created using it....
The stamp is by mostly animals. The saying is by stampscapes as well as the foliage. And I made my own card base. Yes, I used my score-it that I had to have a year ago. Broke that puppy out and found out I like it. LOL

The prisma pencils and gamsol seem to be the solution to colorizing my animal stamps. I am a very happy stamper! to create....

Welcome to the Sweet Heart Valentine's Day Blog Hop; Feb 14 at 12:01am to Feb 16 to 11:45pm

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Sweet Heart Valentine's Day Blog Hop; Feb 14 at 12:01am to Feb 16 to 11:45pm hosted by Dee of Designs From My Heart ( I am celebrating Valentine's Day and the love from my husband! I have asked you all to make a Love-Themed item for someone that we love.
Here is my animal inspired valentine card for my hubby.

Here is my card  for the blog hop. My background paper is from GCD using the front and back of this double sided paper. I added a gold heart paper doillie . I stamped the cat from an Art Impression clear set. I stamped the bird from an Inkadinkado clear set. Both are colorized with prisma pencils and gamsol. I punched a red heart and hand wrote Love on it and slit the cat's mouth and tucked it in. I placed the cat on a strip of black cardstock and added white pencil marks to ground him.  This was a fun card to create.

Next stop on the hop is Martha:

I have blog candy to give away Post a comment here and become a follower of my blog to be entered to win the blog candy. I will pick the winner of the blog candy  on 2/18/11.
