Snow Queen

Good Morning Ladies,
Another fun day and evening of training yesterday. Dude is learning his obedience well. And the agility students and dogs are a barrel of fun. Today I will spend time creating new things.
Today's card is Snow Queen
This card started with the snow queen image. I picked this stamp up used this summer. It has no company maker on it and I think it is fairly old. The image was stamped on watercolor paper. It was colorized using Stampin' Up watercolor crayons and Mica palettes from US Art Quest. http://www.usartquest.com/ The snow at the bottom was created using Stickles and Tattered Angels mist. The mist bottle was opened and a paint brush was dipped in and then washed across the bottom. The watercolor paper took this mist well. The snowflakes are a pre-cut product from Creative Expressions. A pearl was added to the center of each snowflake. The sentiment is from CTMH.

Joan's Touch Belly Band Challenge

Good Morning Ladies,

The requirements are as follows...
Use polka dots
Make a gate fold card
Use a fancy belly band around the card
Use something that can be purchased from http://www.atjoansgardens.com/

The gate fold card base is made with DCWV cardstock. The polka dot layers is a card stock from Doddle Bug and the dots are glittered.
The belly band was created using the same card stock. The flowers were created using a Cheery Lynn die purchased at Joan's Gardens and a Sizzix rolled rose die. Hairball Birthday

Good Morning Ladies,
It has been raining and is warm outside. Yesterday morning when I went out it smelled like fall. A distinct scent fall is.
The card for today is Hairball Birthday
This card was created using a silly Stampin' Up set. The cat and saying is all one stamp. It is stamped on watercolor paper and colorized using Stampin' Up watercolor crayons and a water brush. The circles were cut using a Sizzix frame-lits set. All paper is from a My Mind's Eye paper pad. This was the least liked paper in the tablet. But it worked perfect for this card. It is circles that look like scribbles and has a touch of glitter. The flowers were hand cut from a different sheet and popped up. A fiber tops this card off.
A close-up of the cat.
 Popping view of the flowers.

Joan's Challenge Belly Band

Good Morning Ladies,
I missed Joan's challenge last week but this week I got right on it.
So my card for today is Joan's Challenge Belly Band
You can see and enter the challenge here http://www.joanstouch.com/
The requirements for the challenge this week are as follows:
Use polka dots
Make a gate fold card
Use a fancy belly band around the card
Use a product that can be purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
Here is my card....
This was a fun card to make. It did take me a couple of attempts at getting the gate fold card the right size. But I managed. The cardstock I used to create the gate fold card base is from Doddlebug. This is a glittered paper as the dots are glittered.
The belly band was made of plain white card stock with a piece of the polka dot card stock wrapped around it in the center. The flowers were created using the Sunflower die from Cheery Lynn. I purchased this die from  http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ This is one of my favorite flower dies. The two blue flowers on each end had the petals pinched. Pop dots are in between each layer for a 3-D effect. Pearl sprigs set behind the flowers. White flat back doves sit on each flower center.
This is the front of the gate fold card.
The sentiment is from Rubber Cottage.  I just got back from the stamp show a week or two ago and purchased this stamp. A shout out to Terri to check out this company as it has lots of awesome sayings and images. https://www.rubbercottage.com/ If you like the images from this company give Terri a holler by e-mail. A flat back dove accents the inside sentiment.
A close-up of the sentiment.
Thanks Joan for another great challenge.
