3D Goldens

Good Morning Ladies,
The temps are a little colder than I like but the sun is shinning. I will take that.
The card for today is 3D Goldens
This card started with the Sue Wilson cosmic shimmer flakes and the Cheery Lynn lattice die. The die was cut and placed on a sheet of double sticky back. I then added the shimmer flakes and rubbed it in with a piece of rough sponge. This panel was placed on a piece of purple shimmer cardstock and put on top of the card base. A friend gave me a panel of 3D dogs. These were popped out of the sheet and placed with pop dots between the layers and popped up on the card. Next was the trailing ivy from Sue Wilson's Creative Expressions. It was cut from gold mirror card. The flower was next. It was created using the Cheery Lynn Black Eyed Susan die.

Creative Expressions Good Things

Good Morning Ladies,
It's Monday again. I am off to the dog show this weekend. I can't wait.
The card for today is Creative Expressions Good Things
This card was created on a Create and Craft card base. The lace look is already done for you. It is a large card base. One of my more local small stamp stores is selling the Sue Wilson Creative Expressions dies. http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ Check out all she has to offer. She is in the USA. The embossed background was created with a Creative Expressions embossing folder. These folders are huge. I love them. The center was cut with a Creative Expressions die from the Spanish collection. The sentiment is from Rubber Cottage. I have had this stamp for quite sometime but did not have anything to use it with. These dies and embossing folders are perfect for stamps like this. I got the trailing ivy die this weekend. My friend picked it up for me at Joan's. The butterfly is from a set my sister gave me for my birthday. My camera picked up the color funny, but the purple matches the flat back cat.

Get Well Unicorn

Good Morning Ladies,
A Happy Mothers Day wish to all you moms out there.
The card for today is Get Well Unicorn
This card was inspired by the unicorn that was in my stash. I don't remember what company it is from. I do know that the unicorn was stamped on white card stock and embossed in black. It was then colorized with art markers and crystal laquer was applied. Of course there is glitter on the horn. The leaves are cut from a die from Cheery Lynn. The flower was created using a die from FSJ. The bow was made on my new bow maker. The sentiment is from Hampton Arts.

VLVS Need A Drink

Good Morning Ladies,
It looks to be a busy day today. I have a friend coming over to stamp and she is bringing some new product to play with. I can't wait.
The card for today is VLVS Need A Drink
This is a tri-fold card base by Doddlebug. The card was inspired by the VLVS (Viva Las Vegas Stamps) image of the lady. The card base has a window cut in the front. The lady was stamped on Bristol paper and colorized with Prisma pencil and Gamsol. She was then hand cut. The flower was created using a FSJ die set. The leaves that sit behind it are cut with a Sizzix Susan's Garden leaf set. The sentiment is from Kelly Purkey.

Graphics 45 Raining Cats and Dogs

Good Morning Ladies,
I missed blogging yesterday. I have been working on orders. Time got away from me.
The card for today is Graphics 45 Raining Cats and Dogs
This card was created using the Graphics 45 pad Raining Cats and dogs. I so love Graphics 45 and this pad is amazing. The lady and her pups were hand cut and popped up on the card. The tag die cut and the corner die cut were created using the Sue Wilson Creative Expressions Mexican border, corner, and tag set. The were cut and embossed using a Grand Calibur machine from Spellbinders. I am loving this machine as it will take a 8 1/2 by eleven sheet of card stock and embosses deeply. The flower was created using a Black Eyed Susan die from Cheery Lynn.
 A view of the tag.

Cat Talk Thank You

Good Morning Ladies,
I seem to be all rested up to day and ready to go. I am the eternal early bird.
The card for today is Cat Talk Thank You
This card started with the floral background panel. I found this panel in my stash. It must have been a stamp I stamped out from one of my friends collections of stamps. So I don't know the company. The card stock that covers the card base is a crinkle card stock from the Paper Cut. I love the texture on this card stock. The cat image is from a Stampin' Up cling set. Ribbons grace the bottom of this card.
A close-up of the cat image.
This is the inside sentiment from the same Stampin' Up set.

Lamb Baa-thday

Good Morning Ladies,
I got a little behind as I was making orders. Plus I purchased a new bow maker that I have been playing with.
The card for today is Lamb Baa-thday
The card base was created using a Cheery Lynn center step card die. The layers were run through a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The image is a vintage German embossed cut. At the bottom of the card is a bow I made with the new bow maker. The bow maker is the Embellishment Attic Bow Maker. A bit of a learning curve but I do like it. This came from Create and Craft.
A close-up of the image and the embossing.
This is an easy standup card.
This is the inside sentiment.

Giraffe Family

Good Morning Ladies,
It was a little hard rolling out of bed this morning. But I did not sleep that well last night so I was also happy to see this morning.
The card for today is Giraffe Family
The giraffe family image is from Magenta. It is an older image but was looking at me and I just had to use is. It had never seen ink. I am creating with the things I buy. I am out of the collecting phase and on to the creating phase. The image was stamped on yellow cardstock using Archival Ink in the color of potting soil. This image was hand cut. It worked perfect layered on the Sue Wilson Creative Expressions Burgandy die set. It was popped up. A Hero Arts hoof print stamp was stamped on a yellow background. Washi tape runs up the side. At the top of the washi tape is the center piece of the die cut. A flower is popped up on top of that. The flower was created using a black-eyed susan die from Cheery Lynn.

Dog Certificate Inserts

Good Morning Ladies,
I am working the dog show all weekend. I had to do some creating for the raffle for this show.
Today's project is Dog Certificate Inserts
These inserts were made the same. The only difference is the direction. They are created on a piece of red cardstock. The size is 81/2 by 11 to fit document frames. A certificate will go across the front. The blue ribbon was stamped and hand cut. Each streamer is single and then added to the rosette. Washi tape runs across the top and the bottom. The dogs were cut from an Obsession Impression die set. This die set gave me the variety I need for an all breed show. The mat fits a 4x6 photo.
I will also have cards for sale at this event. My friend Dru will have crate pads and some other surprises for sale at this event.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
