Blue Ribbon King Charles

Good Morning Ladies,
It seems a little brisk out there this morning. Windy has a need to run in and out to remind me how cold it is.
The card for today is Blue Ribbon King Charles
This card was created using Dog Stamps Plus Stamps. The dog image is a King Charles Spaniel. He was stamped on white cardstock with black ink. He was then hand cut. The ribbon was stamped on white cardstock using versa mark ink and embossed with a blue embossing powder. I used my new collection of Washi tape. The blue cardstock is textured. This is a square card.

Graphics 45 Little Boy Blue

Good Morning Ladies,
It snowed again last night. I know one thing when spring comes it will be one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
The card for today is Graphics 45 Little Boy Blue
This is a simple card created with the Mother Goose Graphics 45 pad. The top star border is washi tape. I have just ordered and started playing with washi tape. I am loving it. It adds that little something extra to a project. I think baby cards are a hard thing for me to create. This one seemed to go together in a snap.

This is the inside sentiment from a Technique Tuesday set. And another piece of washi tape.

VLVS Super Boy

Good Morning Ladies,
Dude and I went to agility training last night. We had a good time and it was good to get out of the house for something fun.
The card for today is VLVS Super Boy
This was a fun card to make. The super boy is an image from VLVS (viva las vegas stamps). It was stamped on Bristol paper and colorized using watercolor crayons. He was then hand cut. He is popped up on the scene behind him. The background was colorized with Andirondack ink and stipple brushes. The grass was cut with an IO die and the sun was cut with an old big kick die. The sun die is still one of my favorite dies.

A view to show the popping.

FSJ Happy Birthday Cat

Good Morning Ladies,
I am getting a slow start to the morning. But it seems a little warmer out there today. Of course the dogs are sleeping by my feet instead of running in and out this morning.
The card for today is FSJ Happy Birthday Cat
This card was created using FSJ (Fun Stampers Journey) images. The cat and hat are from two different sets but work well together. They were stamped with licorice ink and colorized with watercolor crayons. They were then hand cut and put together on a lime green oval. Ink that matches the cardstock was used to stamp the sentiment. This is a new way to use ink for me and I really like it. The dsp is from a pack also from FSJ. This pack has four designs double sided. So really 8 designs. Love that also. Purple twine is tied at the bottom of the card.
This is the inside sentiment.

Pony Express VLVS

Good Morning Ladies,
Yesterday was a pretty warm day. I took advantage of it and did a lot of running around town. I took new cards to the Co-op Shoppes. I did not blog. By the time I figured it out it was too late.
The card for today is Pony Express VLVS
This card was inspired by my new VLVS (viva las vegas stamps). That is where the pony express rider came from. He was stamped on Bristol paper with black archival ink. He was then colorized with watercolor crayons. A spellbinders die set was used to cut him and the black mat out. The sentiment is from FSJ. A lasso was created using kitchen twine.

Dinner for this evening is going into the crock pot this morning. Makes for a relaxing evening when I don't have to cook when I get home.

Soldier Tag Pocket Card

Good Morning Ladies,
It is a cold one again today. I'm sure our gas and electric company loves this weather.
Today's card is Soldier Tag Pocket Card
This tag pocket card was created using a Fun Stampers Journey die. The stamps are also from Fun Stampers Journey. The idea for this card came from something my stamping friend does every year. She creates cards for Veterans Day and takes them to the nursing homes and veterans she knows. The first time she gave one to my dad he was totally surprised and thanked her saying that no one had ever given him a card on veterans day.
A close up of the tank.
This is a view of the first tag in the pocket behind the tank.
This is a view with the second tag pulled up from the back pocket.
This was an easy card to create!
If you are interested in this tag die just let me know.

Bunny in the Flowers

Good Morning Ladies,
I was so cold last night when I got home from work I thought the furnace was not running. My better half assured me it was. I am warm this morning. I hope that this continues today.
The card for today is Bunny in the Flowers
All stamps, paper, and die used on this card are from Fun Stampers Journey. The bunny was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolor crayons. The eggs were stamped in Hazelnut brown ink and hand cut. The flowers were cut with a die. The centers of the flowers are buttons from my old stash.

FSJ Pizza Birthday

Good Morning Ladies,
The cold is still here this morning. I am so ready for spring. I don't mind the mud season at all.
The card for today is FSJ Pizza Birthday
I am having so much fun with all the new products I received from Fun Stampers Journey. I think it is hard to make a teenage Birthday card. I think this card fits the bill. The chevron paper comes free when you purchase $50 dollars in product in the month of Feb. The pizza comes in an AT set with a hot dog and a hambuger. The fancy die cut is also a Fun Stampers Journey product. Twine wraps the bottom of the card.

FSJ bunny flip-it

Good Morning Ladies,
I am so ready for spring. This weekend was a bust with the weather. No freestyle cancelled because of weather. I could not make it to the dog show on Sunday because of weather. I was able to help a friend whose power went out. She and her son were able to make it to my house so they could stay nice and cozy warm this weekend.
The card for today is FSJ bunny flip-it
So I guess today is the day I announce that I am now a Fun Stampers Journey Coach. I got my coach kit about a month ago and placed my first order last week. It came on Friday and so I played with everything this past weekend. This card created using the FSJ Easter bunny set. The bunny was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolor crayons. The card base was created using a Sizzix flip-it die. The cardstock and dsp is from FSJ. I just love the mushroom paper. The bunny was popped up with pop dots.
 A close-up of the bunny.

Once Upon A Time Dragon

Good Morning Ladies,
Somehow we ducked out of most of the snow yesterday. But the cold air has blown in this morning.
The card for today is Once Upon A Time Dragon
The dragon image is from Crafter's Companion and is from the  Sheena Douglass collection. He was stamped on watercolor paper. He  was then colorized using Derwent Inktense pencils. The inktense give very bright and brilliant colors. I love them. The dragon was matted on black with a Basic Grey cardstock covering the card base. The sentiment is from the same set. A brass dragon charm tops this card off.
A close-up of the dragon charm.
This card is blank inside for the senders own personal message.

Leap and Fly CTMH

Good Morning Ladies,
We did get some snow and it is windy out. My chimes are singing a snow song out front. The dogs keep running in and out. Must be a little bit too windy for them to stay out for too long.
The card for today is Leap and Fly CTMH
This card was created using a CTMH dance set. The dancer and sentiment were stamped on tags. Twine from Fun Stampers Journey was added to the tags as ties. The background card stock is from a Graphics 45 tablet.

Graphics 45 Botanical Tea Bird

Good Morning Ladies,
I am going to get straight to the card for today. The card is Graphics 45 Botanical Tea Bird
This card started with the Tim Holtz rosette die. This rosette was created quite some time ago. I found it in my stash and laid it on my table. It was created using grunge board and was inked with distressed ink. It was a great match to the Graphics 45 botanical tea pad. That is where the bird calling card came from. The die cut feathers are cut from brown cardstock using a Spellbinders die set. The striped background is from the same pad.
A close-up of the calling card.

The inside sentiment is from a Stamps of Life clear set.
