Joan's Touch Challenge #19

Good Morning Ladies,
It is raining again this morning. The earth is getting a good long drink so far this week. But the rain comes and goes throughout the day and night. So it is not really the monsoon season.
Today I have a card for Joan's Touch Challenge #19. You can see and join the challenge here... http://joanstouch.blogspot.com/2014/06/challenge-19-card.html
The challenge requirements this week are as follows:
Use lots of colors of inks your choice.
Use different textures.
Stencil either with paste or ink.
You must use a product sold at Joan's Gardens.
Here is a link to Joan's Gardens... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ Take your time shop around....Terri has wonderful things for you.
Here is my card....
This is a heavy card as I used a mat board to cover the card base. This mat board was colorized with Tim Holtz alcohol inks in three colors. I had this mat board already colorized. It had been hanging around for just the right project. My next layer is Coragated cardstock from DCWV. I inked it with Tim Holtz distressed ink. You can buy Tim Holtz products from Joan's Gardens. The next layer I created with the Memory Box stencil Stars Star Flash. I purchased this from Terri at Joan's Gardens. I inked it up with two colors of Tim Holtz distressed inks. My sentiment was stamped in black Memento ink. It was from a Tim Holtz clear stamp set. Then I looked around for more texture and came up with a piece of my potato bag. It was added and reminds me of fisherman's net. I adhered it with E6000 spray glue. I purchased this glue from Joan's Gardens. Mr Gullible from Whimsy Stamps came next. He was stamped on Bristol paper and colorized with Copic markers. He was hand cut and added. The star fish was inked up with the same colors as I used in the stencil. For my final texture at the top of the card I used a piece of metal material that has a crimped look. I acquired this at the craft day I was at last Saturday. It looks to be old, maybe the 70's. It is on a roll like ribbon. Just fun stuff.
 A close-up of the sentiment.
A close-up of the metal trim.
A close -up of the seagull and the potato back in the background.
A close-up of the star fish.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
