Good Evening Ladies,
I know I have been missing in action. I was gone at a week long dog show. And then I was so far behind in everything I just couldn't get to the blog. So here I am with a card for Joan's Touch Challenge #18
Here is the link to the challenge http://joanstouch.blogspot.com/2014/06/challenge-card-18.html
The requirements this week are as follows:
Use a scenery stamp, picture, or digital image.
Create layers per the instructions on Joan's blog.
Use any color.
Use something that can be purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
I loved this challenge...wish I would have had time to do more than one....
The scene stamp I used is from Stampscapes Lakeside Cove LG0496G. I stamped it on natural cardstock with Archival Ink in the color coffee. Archival Ink can be purchased at Joan's Gardens. I then grabbed my Tim Holtz distressed inks in the colors of Vintage Photo, Wild Honey, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Pumice Stone, and Forest Moss to colorize all of the color. You can purchase Tim Holtz distressed ink at Joan's Gardens. I cut the scene with Spellbinders die set Labels 18 S4-310. You can also purchase Spellbinders die set at Joan's Gardens. Instead of using repositionable tape I used my sizzix magnetic platform to cut the scene. You can purchase the magnetic platform at Joan's Gardens. My background of birch trees was created using the Memory Box stencil Garden Birch Landscape. I got this from Terri at Joan's Gardens. The dog was cut from Impression Obsession die set IO Die-170R. I purchased this die set from Terri at Joan's Gardens. My background cardstock is from the Graphics 45 Typology pad. You can purchase Graphics 45 from Joan's Gardens.
This is a close-up of the scene.
This view shows the popping.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
