Good Morning Ladies,
I woke to another thunderstorm this morning. One thing is for sure....we are not short of rain this summer.
My card for today is Graphics 45 meets Artful Inkables Elephant
This card started with the Bohemian Bazaar Graphics 45 pad. This pad has bright beautiful colors. I used the scene sheet. That's the first one in the pad. I am not always able to do this since most of it gets lost when used for a card front. I paired this with lime green cardstock from DCWV to ground the elephant. The elephant image is from Artful Inkables. This is a rubber on cling set. I stamped, colorized and cut the elephant. He was screaming to be a 3-D elephant. So he was stamped, colorized and cut two more times. My second cut was just the head and my third cut was just the center of his face. The two top layers were popped up. The sentiment at the bottom is from the same set.
A close-up of the elephant and the sentiment.
A side view to show the layers popped.
The inside sentiment is from the Stamps of Life.
I never have enough birthday cards. They are the first to fly out of my booth at the Co-op Shoppes in La Porte. If you are local hop on in and check the variety of cards I offer.

Heartfelt Creations Accident
Good Morning Ladies,
Up and at it early this morning. I can't believe that it is the end of June already. Where did this month go?
My Card for you today is Heartfelt Creations Accident ....
This was a fun card to make. It started out with the Cracker Box Palace sentiment set. This was stamped on red cardstock and hand cut. The background paper is some I have in my stash a long time but just pulled out to use for this card. The truck and dog is from a Heartfelt Creations cling set. The road was created by using a strip of black paper with a line dashed down the center with a white pen. The dog and truck are popped up.
A view to show the popping.
This is the inside sentiment.

Dog Sympathy
Good Morning Ladies,
I have my mojo back and am creating like crazy. It feels good. My truck has to be worked on today. My fuel pump is going bad. So I guess I will be here in my stamp room creating some more.
My card for today is Dog Sympathy... we don't want to think about it but sometimes we need one of these cards.
This is a 6 X 6 card. The background paper is from a prima pad. It worked perfectly for this project. The sentiments on this card are from CTMH. The angel and dog stamp is from Whimsy Stamps. The dog and angel were stamped on Bristol paper and colorized with Copic markers. They were popped up with pop dots. A sweet and simple card.
A close-up of the sentiment on the front.
A close-up of the angel and dog.
This is the inside sentiment. Again sweet and simple.

Baby Shoe Flip Card
Good Morning Ladies,
I spent time yesterday taking new cards and stamps into the co-op shoppes. The place was hopping. I purchased a few items myself. If you are local and haven't stopped in you don't know what you are missing. What a variety!
Today my card is Baby Shoe Flip Card ....
This card started with a Sizzix flip die. I can't get enough of flip dies. They are so much fun! I used the Sizzix Frame-lits die that matches for my flip mats. The baby shoe is from a clear set from Jaded Blossoms. I also love this stamp set, well really the baby shoe. The paper is from Prima. I created the bow using a Creative Expressions die. A simple but pretty card to welcome baby.
This is the inside flip with the sentiment from the same clear stamp set.
A view to show the flip.

Persian Cat Stand Up Card
Good Morning Ladies,
I slept a little too late this morning. I don't know what got into me. Maybe the cool weather with the windows open. At least it was not to late so that I could not post my card for today. Which is Persian Cat Stand Up Card ....
I am loving my sizzix stand-up card die. That is what the base of this card is cut from. Double sided paper works great. I did not have to add any other paper to this card. If you use single sided paper then you have to add paper cover up the white that shows when you fold the card. I used the sizzix Frame-lits to cut my circles out of two colors of grey cardstock. I stamped directly on the light grey with the persian cat stamp. No colorization needed. The cat stamp is from Grey Wolf Graphics. I love his stamps. Next I added the rolled flowers. They were cut from a Memory Box die and a Sizzix die. A pearl sprig was added behind them. The banner die was cut from a Spellbinders die set. The sentiment was stamped on that.
A close-up of the cat and flowers.
The sentiment and it shows the tab the die cuts to hold up the top of the card.
A view from the side.

Road Trip
Good Morning Ladies,
No rain so far this morning! I am just enjoying the warm weather that we have been having. It is inspiring me. So my card for today is Road Trip....
This card started out with an Inkadinkado clear stamp set. I remember from my horse show days a family that had an orange VW bus. I always thought that bus was cool so I colorized the camper and bus with Copic markers in orange and white. These were then hand cut. I cut a black strip of cardstock for the road. the center line is done with a silver metallic pen. I need cardstock bright and cheery for this summer scene so Graphics 45 Bohemian Bazar was the answer. I stamped road trip from the same clear set on the postcard cut out. The paper clip arrow is from Maya Road.
A view to show the popped up camper and bus.
A close-up of the arrow paper clip.

Joan's Touch Challenge #19
Good Morning Ladies,
It is raining again this morning. The earth is getting a good long drink so far this week. But the rain comes and goes throughout the day and night. So it is not really the monsoon season.
Today I have a card for Joan's Touch Challenge #19. You can see and join the challenge here... http://joanstouch.blogspot.com/2014/06/challenge-19-card.html
The challenge requirements this week are as follows:
Use lots of colors of inks your choice.
Use different textures.
Stencil either with paste or ink.
You must use a product sold at Joan's Gardens.
Here is a link to Joan's Gardens... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ Take your time shop around....Terri has wonderful things for you.
Here is my card....
This is a heavy card as I used a mat board to cover the card base. This mat board was colorized with Tim Holtz alcohol inks in three colors. I had this mat board already colorized. It had been hanging around for just the right project. My next layer is Coragated cardstock from DCWV. I inked it with Tim Holtz distressed ink. You can buy Tim Holtz products from Joan's Gardens. The next layer I created with the Memory Box stencil Stars Star Flash. I purchased this from Terri at Joan's Gardens. I inked it up with two colors of Tim Holtz distressed inks. My sentiment was stamped in black Memento ink. It was from a Tim Holtz clear stamp set. Then I looked around for more texture and came up with a piece of my potato bag. It was added and reminds me of fisherman's net. I adhered it with E6000 spray glue. I purchased this glue from Joan's Gardens. Mr Gullible from Whimsy Stamps came next. He was stamped on Bristol paper and colorized with Copic markers. He was hand cut and added. The star fish was inked up with the same colors as I used in the stencil. For my final texture at the top of the card I used a piece of metal material that has a crimped look. I acquired this at the craft day I was at last Saturday. It looks to be old, maybe the 70's. It is on a roll like ribbon. Just fun stuff.
A close-up of the sentiment.
A close-up of the metal trim.
A close -up of the seagull and the potato back in the background.
A close-up of the star fish.

The Stamps of Life spinner
Good Morning Ladies,
I am back on track now. I took a break yesterday and never left the house. I did not get much done but I did get a card or two done.
My card today is The Stamps of Life spinner card....
The base of this card was created using the Sizzix round stand-up card die. This is a fun die. I used a DCWV birthday cardstock pad to cut the card base out of. Then I grabbed my the stamps of life spinner die and stamp set. The base of the spinner is blue cardstock, the round spinner divider is cut from red cardstock, and the spinner is cut from black cardstock. The spinner is attached with a blue sparkle brad so it can really spin. I had made a couple of spinner cards before but they were for a special order so they were never posted. This stand up spinner card is a breeze to make.
A close-up of the spinner.
The sentiment on the bottom portion of the card.
A stand-up view.

Joan's Touch Challenge #18
Good Evening Ladies,
I know I have been missing in action. I was gone at a week long dog show. And then I was so far behind in everything I just couldn't get to the blog. So here I am with a card for Joan's Touch Challenge #18
Here is the link to the challenge http://joanstouch.blogspot.com/2014/06/challenge-card-18.html
The requirements this week are as follows:
Use a scenery stamp, picture, or digital image.
Create layers per the instructions on Joan's blog.
Use any color.
Use something that can be purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
I loved this challenge...wish I would have had time to do more than one....
The scene stamp I used is from Stampscapes Lakeside Cove LG0496G. I stamped it on natural cardstock with Archival Ink in the color coffee. Archival Ink can be purchased at Joan's Gardens. I then grabbed my Tim Holtz distressed inks in the colors of Vintage Photo, Wild Honey, Broken China, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Pumice Stone, and Forest Moss to colorize all of the color. You can purchase Tim Holtz distressed ink at Joan's Gardens. I cut the scene with Spellbinders die set Labels 18 S4-310. You can also purchase Spellbinders die set at Joan's Gardens. Instead of using repositionable tape I used my sizzix magnetic platform to cut the scene. You can purchase the magnetic platform at Joan's Gardens. My background of birch trees was created using the Memory Box stencil Garden Birch Landscape. I got this from Terri at Joan's Gardens. The dog was cut from Impression Obsession die set IO Die-170R. I purchased this die set from Terri at Joan's Gardens. My background cardstock is from the Graphics 45 Typology pad. You can purchase Graphics 45 from Joan's Gardens.
This is a close-up of the scene.

Joan's Challenge Amazing #16
Good Morning Ladies,
I had a late night last night creating my last card for Joan's Challenge Amazing #16 . I couldn't go to sleep until I created it. I left it as an idea on the table before work yesterday.
You can see and join the challenge here...just click on the link http://joanstouch.blogspot.com/2014/06/16-challenbge.html
The requirements this week are as follows:
Make a twisted easel card.
Use any color.
Use some patterned paper.
You must use something that can be purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
So here is my card.....
This card started out with the card stock from a Prima 6x6 pad Nature Gaarden. I purchased this pad from Joan's Gardens oh so long ago. I don't know why I never dived into this pad. Only thing I can think of was that I was waiting for that special card. And this easel card challenge was special. The tree trunk stamp and the mushrooms stamp are from Crafter's Companion. It is a Sheena set called Enchanted Doorway. I believe you can order this stamp set from Terri over at Joan's as she is carrying some of the Crafter's Companion stamp sets. The tree trunk and mushrooms are colorized using Copic markers. Both are hand cut. The mushrooms are popped up to hold the easel back up. Then along came the little bunnies die cuts. They are from Impression Obsession DIE168-C. I purchased these from Terri over at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ I knew I would use these bunnies for more than Easter. They are so magical that they fit this card perfect. The little girl is part of the patterned paper. The sentiments are from the Stamps of Life.
A close-up of the top of the card. Love my little bunnies!
This is a close-up of the lower half of the card.
And a side view of the card to show the easel fold.

Top Dog Stand Up Card
Good Evening Ladies,
It was a long day today. This is my first chance to post. It will be a short post with a simple card. Top Dog Stand Up Card
This card was created with my new Sizzix Stand Up card die. The card stock and paper is from my scrap box. I am getting good use of my scrap box as of late. The stamp set is from Stampin' Up. A friend of my brought this stamp set over and I had to use it. The dogs were colorized with Copic markers.
A close-up of the dog pile.
A close-up of the tab the die cuts in the card. This was so easy. It is my first attempt at this card die so the card is pretty plain.

Joan's Touch Challenge #16 Twisted
Good Morning Ladies,
I could not go to bed last night until I finished the second card for Joan's Touch Challenge #16 Twisted
I am having so much fun with this easy peasy fold. To see and join the challenge click on this link... http://joanstouch.blogspot.com/2014/06/16-challenbge.html
The requirements this week are as follows:
Make a twisted easel card (instructions are on Joan's blog)
Any color.
Use some patterned paper.
You must use a product that can be purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
So here is my second card....
This card started with the vintage embossed lady cut. I love my vintage cuts. The Graphics 45 Secret Garden went perfect with her. So those papers were used for the covers of the card base. The card base is cream. You can purchase Graphics 45 pads from Terri at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ The vintage lady needed something to rest on so I used Cheery Lynn Designs die DL221 Spring Flower Burst Doily. It was cut using a scrap from my scrap box. I love this die. I purchased it from Joan's Gardens. The roses were created using a Sizzix rolled rose die. They are cut from a white textured cardstock and inked with a creamy brown color box cat's eye chalk ink pad. I purchased this from Terri over a Joan's Gardens. A pearl sprig was added under the flowers. The sentiments are from a cling mount set from TPC. The bow that holds the top of the card up is cut from a Creative Expressions die Classic 3D Bow. I purchased this from Terri at Joan's Gardens. When I used this bow die the first time I did not do it right. Last night it just came to me how to do it. I was thinking why didn't I look up the directions on you tube. But I got it now. I am loving this bow die.

New Puppy Triple Flip-It
Good Morning Ladies,
This is shaking out to be a very busy week. Good thing I made cards on Sunday. The card I have for you today is New Puppy Triple Flip-It
This card was created using a triple square flip-it card from Sizzix. I am loving the flip-it cards. So easy to make the card base = extra card making time. The card base was made from my scrap box. Did I mention the flip-it cards are making great use of my scrap box. I have a really big scrap box. The paw print paper that the card is layer with is by Memory Makers. This is very old card stock and also from my scrap box. I then used the only set of inchies stamps I have. Dogs of course. They are from Inkadinkado. I am going to have to seek out more inchies stamps.
This is what the card looks like when opened. The words are from the same inchie stamp set. The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossoms baby set but went perfect for this new puppy card.
This is the card half folded.
Happy Scraps,

This is what the card looks like when opened. The words are from the same inchie stamp set. The sentiment is from the Jaded Blossoms baby set but went perfect for this new puppy card.
This is the card half folded.

Joan's Touch Challenge #16
Good Morning Ladies,
It's another new challenge over at Joan's Touch. It's time for Joan's Touch Challenge #16
To join in the fun and see the challenge click here http://joanstouch.blogspot.com/2014/06/16-challenbge.html
The requirements this week are as follows:
Make a twisted easel card. (never fear she has the instructions on the challenge.)
Use any color.
Use some patterned paper.
You must use something you can buy at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
I have never made a twisted easel card before. I found this to be a very easy card to create and it does have a fun twist!
Here is my card....
For this card I grabbed my Graphics 45 pad Good Ol' Sport. I purchased this pad at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ from Terri. I love this pad and this card idea seemed to fit it well. My twisted card base tan card stock came out of my scrap box. The color was perfect for Graphics 45 paper. The sentiments are from TPC. They were stamped with coffee archival ink and hand cut. The paper that is directly behind the baseball players is from my scrap box.
The sentiment at the top was placed on the tip of the card.
A close-up of the Happy Birthday sentiment.
A view of the sentiment popped up to hold the top of the card up.
Another great challenge Joan!
