Good Morning Ladies,
I am still working on trying out my new stamps from Dog Stamps Plus. So many stamps....So little time!
This is what I have created for today... Portuguese Water Dog Card
I am always looking for great renditions of different breeds of dogs. Dog Stamps Plus has so many great ones. Like this Portuguese Water Dog. He was stamped on Bristol paper and then colorized with Prisma pencil and Gamsol. I picked the pencil option for colorization because it lets the image show through. And the hair on this dog is distinct and important. I wanted to make my focus the dog on this card. So it is fussy and plain at the same time. The tree frame die is from Memory Box dies cut in brown card stock. The flourishes are cut from a Cheery Lynn die cut from green card stock. The roses are cut from a Sizzix die. To top this card off I added pearls to the tree. I wasn't sure about this at first but with the flourishes and the roses it worked.
This is a close up of the dogs.

Terrier Dog at the Beach
Good Morning Ladies,
I had a great time at the dog show yesterday. I am going back today for another round. I am posting my card before I leave. Today's card is Terrier Dog at the Beach
A fun card that is blank inside. This card started with the Northwoods Rubber Stamp Comapany beach scene stamp. It was stamped on Bristol paper and colorized with Copic markers except for the sky. The sky was done with Prisma pencil and Gamsol. This panel was matted with bright cheery colors found in the scene. The terrier dog was stamped and embossed. It was then colorized with Copic markers and popped up on scene. A red and white polka dot ribbon tops this card off.
A view of the popped up terrier dog.

Hugs & Kisses Birthday
Good Morning Ladies,
I had to break down and get that new washer and dryer yesterday. I am looking forward to the big loads I will be able to wash. Mainly my crate pads and dog blankets. It arrives on Friday and then it will be a whole new learning process. My old set is 26 years old. Wow have things changed in washers and dryers since then.
My card for today is.... Hugs & Kisses Birthday
The cute dog image is from Whimsy stamps. He was stamped on bristol paper and colorized with Copic markers. He was then cut with a spellbinders die set as well as the two mats beneath him. The two pink card stocks are repeated on the card base with white pearl card stock added to that layering. My sentiments for this card are from Inkadinkado. The fairytale border is cut from a Memory Box die. The rolled flowers are also created from a Memory Box die.
This is the inside of the card.

Happy Balloon Day!
Good Morning Ladies,
The cold has returned. I can't think of many people who like this crazy weather this spring. I think the poor little birdies that flew back north are shivering this morning.
My card today is Happy Balloon Day!
I am still using the polka dot card stock. I think it worked well to create a festive background for this birthday card. My image is from Totally Stampalicious! I stamped him on bristol paper and colorized him with Copic markers. He was then cut and matted with a spellbinders die set as well as the sentiment. Sheer purple ribbon tied at the bottom tops this card off.

Joan's Challenge Girly Card
Good Morning Ladies,
I was at the dog show this past weekend. So I wasn't home to blog. And then Monday just got away from me. Today I have my card ready for Joan's Challenge Girly Card . Here is the link to the challenge..... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2013/04/this-weeks-challenge-4-18-13.html
The requirements are:
Use pastel colors
Use some kind of lace
Use at least one bow
Use some flowers
Use something from Joan's
Here is my card....
When I saw the challenge I knew I was going to use the new Marianne design die I purchased at Joan's. I had not had a chance to use it yet. It is perfect to use for a girly card. I cut the top fan pieces from pink embossed card stock. I then used the shadow portion of the die and cut it with white glitter card stock. I have always been in love with paper fans. I attached the pieces together with a pink and white polka dotted brad. I used a cameo of dancing women for the open piece of the fan. A small pearl graces each piece of fan at the top. My lace is a piece I have had for a long time. It is a wedding dress lace. The shape was perfect to nest the fan into. My bow is pink ribbon that combines solid and sheer elements. Three rolled flowers grace one of the bottom corners. These flower were created using a Memory Box die I purchased at Joan's. The three pearls in the corner top this card off.
This is a close-up of my lace piece.

Good Morning Ladies,
I am getting ready to leave for a dog show this weekend. So this morning I am posting a card.
My card is Graphics 45 Secret Garden Mother's Day
I used the Graphics 45 Secret Garden collection to create this card. My two mats and the little girls are from the 8x8 pad. I created my roses using a Sizzix die. The olive branches were cut using a Cheery Lynn die. A ribbon across the top of the card sits under the key. The key is cut from a Marianne die.
A close-up of the key. This is a die I won at one of Joan's Challenges. Don't you just love it!

Sled Dogs
Good Morning Ladies,
Wow did we have the rain last night. Yesterday was a bit chilly. This morning feels warmer. My dogs will be getting a bath today. Of course it looks like more rain. I will just have to work at keeping them clean and dry.
My card for today is Sled Dogs and here it is....
This card is for my friend Connie. This is a new image I purchased from Dog Stamps Plus. If you love dogs this is the go to place for dog stamps of all breeds. This image is colorized with Prisma pencil, Gamsol, Copic markers, and stickles. Black glitter card stock and White glitter card stock make up this entire card. It just worked so well and made my sled dogs pop. The die used on the sled dog pieces is a spellbinders set. The other dies used are from Cheery Lynn. Pearls top this card off.

Joan's Challenge Three Flowers Doberman Sympathy
Good Evening Ladies,
It's been a long day. This is the first chance I have had to do my blog entry. I decided to give Joan's Challenge Three Flowers Doberman Sympathy a second go. You can see the challenge here... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2013/04/this-weeks-challenge-4-11-13.html
The requirements are:
Create a blue and white background
Use three different kinds of flowers
Use two butterflies
Use a sentiment
Here is my card...
For my blue and white background I used a pearl white mat and added a blue mat embossed with my new embossing folder from Joan's. I do not use embossing folders much. But since we have been using them for challenges I am going to try to use them more. I have been motivated by all the beautiful entries. I finally used my build a flower #1 that I purchased at Joan's to make an entire flower. My flower at the top of the card was created using a flower die by Cheery Lynn that I purchased at Joan's. The olive branches that stick out from under that flower are also cut with a Cheery Lynn die that I purchased at Joan's. The rolled roses at the bottom were created using a Sizzix die. My doberman dog is an Art Impression image that I also purchased at Joan's. Check with her she has a few dog stamps. The butterflies were also created using a Cheery Lynn die that I purchased at Joan's. Can you tell I love Joan's Garden! A crystal pearl sprig tops this card off.
This is the inside of my card.
I find shopping for a dog sympathy card is very hard as I can never find the perfect one. So making my own is a much better option.

Birthday Swing
Good Morning Ladies,
A dog kicked my glasses off the table yesterday and bent them all to heck. I went and got them straightened. They still don't feel the same but I am hoping I will get use to it.
My card for today is Birthday Swing ....
The stamp set used on this card is another Totally Stampalicious set. I can not believe this company is going out of business. Their stamps are so cute! I stamped the image on bristol paper and colorized it with Copic markers. This was cut and mounted using a spellbinders set. More polka dots! The background paper and ribbon top this card off.

Graphics 45 Tea Pot Birthday
Good Morning Ladies,
Back again this morning. Somebody turned the heat off yesterday. I woke up this morning in a semi-frozen state. The heat is back on and I am feeling more comfortable.
My card for today is... Graphics 45 Tea Pot Birthday
To create this card I used the Playtime Past Collection pad for my papers and most of the elements. The tea pot tag sits on top of a cut and fold die cut. The die is from Nellie Snellen. The edges are ink in brown as well as the clock edges. The tea pot and clock are popped up.
A view of the die-cut and the tag popped up.
This is the inside of the card.

Moo-velous Day cow
Good Evening Ladies,
It was a beautiful day here in northern Indiana. It felt good.
Here is my card for today... Moo-velous Day cow
I created this card using yet another Totally Stampalicious stamp set. That is where the cow is from. The barn is a Clear Dollar stamp. Both are stamped on bristol paper and colorized with Copic markers. The cow is mounted on a wobbler. Too much fun! My grass is cut from one of my new die cuts I purchased at Joan's. The banner die cut is from a spellbinder set.

I have been trying to stock up on Birthday cards. I never seem to have enough done.

Mal Green Ribbon Q
Good Morning Ladies,
The beginning of a new week and new adventures. Yesterday after I got home from the dog show Kallie and Lucas came over and we had a good run in the corn field with Dude and Q. It was great fun for the dogs. I only took one dog tangled spill.
Today my card is Mal Green Ribbon Q
My ribbon was stamped on bristol paper and colorized with Prisma pencil and Gamsol. The Q is from a Martha Stewart clear set. My Mal dog is an image from Dee Grueng. Stamped on bristol board in black no color necessary. Three wolf like paw prints stamped up the side. To top this card off glitter ribbon was added to the bottom.

Joan's Challenge Yellow, Black, and White
Good Morning Ladies,
I had a great time at the dog show yesterday! Up for another round today. But first before I head out I wanted to post my card for Joan's Challenge Yellow, Black, and White this week. You can see the challenge by clicking this link.... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2013/04/this-weeks-challenge.html
The challenge requirements this week are:
Use the colors yellow, black, and white
Use a frame
Use something to do with spring...parasol, umbrella, etc
You must use something sold at Joan's Gardens
Here is my entry....
My image is from Whimsy stamps. I stamped her on bristol paper and colorized her with copic markers. She was then cut out by hand. I love to cut! She is placed inside and out of a Cheery Lynn die cut. So that is my umbrella and my frame. The Cheery Lynn die was purchased at Joan's and is one of my favorite ovals. Now on my most recent trip to Joan's I purchased the Memory Box blooming posie at Joan's suggestion. Boy am I glad I did. I used my small spiral posie cut from another Memory Box die I purchased at Joan's. I cupped the blooming posie around the spiral posie to create a new flower. Thanks for great die suggestion Joan. I think these flowers are so cute.I added pearl sprigs and a sentiment to top this card off. I have been buying more polka dot paper since the polka dot challenge and am loving it.
A closer view of my new posie flowers.
Another view of my posie flowers.
This is the inside sentiment.
