lilac and lace Christmas

Good Morning Ladies,
I had a full day yesterday. I took a walk with Dude and a friend. We had a lovely time. Then it was off to the local festivals. Three of them in fact. I had not been in years. It was fun and interesting. I was able to buy my cheese curds and a few no bake cookies. It was a great day all around.
Last night I created a card lilac and lace Christmas for the challenge over at http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/lilac-and-lace.html This is a fun challenge blog. It is all about christmas every week. Take some time to check it out. You will be inspired!
For this challenge the requirements are to
Use Lilac
Use Lace
And as always it must be Christmas
So here is my entry....
For this card I started out with an image from Motivet. I stamped this cute squirrel image on bristol board and colorized her with Prisma pencil, Gamsol, and Copic markers. I then cut her out using a spellbinder die set. I placed her on top of two layers using a different spellbinders die set. One layer is glitter card stock. My sentiment is from CTMH. I stamped it, colorized it and hand cut it. My lace is at the bottom with a piece of ribbon across it. To accent this card I used buttons. My sister and another gal told me to add buttons to some of my creations. So I did and I love it! Thanks guys!
This is the inside of my card.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
