Joans Challenge Yellow and Green

Good Morning Ladies,
I'm off to a stamping event this morning. Can't wait for a good time and building memories.
I had to stop in to share my Joans Challenge Yellow and Green card. Here is the link to the challenge... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2012/07/this-weeks-challenge_19.html
The challenge requirements are...
Make a butterfly card
Use Yellow and Green
Use something from nature
At least three layers
Here is my card...
To create this card I started with K&Company flower embossed card stock for the top of my card base. (layer one) I wrapped green striped sew easy thread around the floral card stock three times. My focal panel is dark green card stock (layer two) and dandiloin card stock cut from the cathedral die from Cheery Lynn (layer three). I then added a branch cut from a memory box die. To this I added prima flowers with pearls for centers ( something from nature). The die cut at the top of the card is cut from a spellbinders die set and has the words "with sympathy" stamped on it. My butterfly tops this card off. It was created by cutting the angel wing from embossed vellum from the same collection as the floral paper. My butterfly outline is cut using a Cheery Lynn medium butterfly from yellow pearlized card stock. I added pearls to her wings. I bent her wings and attached her just in the center body.
Showing the lift and vellum of the butterfly.
This is the inside of my card.
All dies can be purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ When I purchased the branch die my thought was a bird perched on it with leaves added. This challenge took my branch a step forward and now I have all kinds of branch ideas. Thanks for the wonderful challenge Joan and Selma.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
