Joan's Challenge Selma's Rose Technique

Good Evening Ladies,
Yes ... it is really late. Today I created my card for Joan's Challenge Selma's Rose Technique and my friend and mom came over and we played some with gelatos and spray lace with different things. You know we just crafty craft played around. The weather is cooler so the dogs went for a walk too.
The challenge over at Joan's requires...
Create a card very similar to Selmas
Use an embossed background
Use a lace border
Use Selma's tutorial to create flowers
Use pink and White
You can see the challenge and Selma's wonderful card...just click on this link... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2012/07/this-weeks-challenge.html
Now here is the card I created.....
These are the supplies I used to create this card. Check Joan's site to order many wonderful products. Martha Stewart Embroidery border punch, Cuttlebug Fleur De Lis embossing folder, Cheery Lynn Designs Polynesian Sails Oval die, Poppy Stamps Meadow Leaf die, Cheery Lynn Stacker flower #6, Spellbinders Spiral Blossom One, pearls, and pearl sprigs. I did not have the smaller spiral flower spellbinder die so I replaced the small flowers with a flower I created using flower #6. I cut petals apart and rolled them, gathered them and such. To tell the truth I don't remember how I created it. Oh yes I used Tim Holtz spun sugar distressed stain in the bottle instead of the stamp pad version. I don't know why because I do have that ink pad.
A close-up of my flowers.
This challenge really challenged me. I did muddle through though.
Thanks again Joan and Selma for pushing me to another level.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
