Good Morning Ladies,
I will be off to a stamp convention the beginning of next month. I can't wait to go and see all of the new products, techniques, and samples.
Today I have created a card for Joan's Challenge Warm Cozy Christmas
The requirements of the challenge are as follows:
Christmas pattern paper for background
Warm and cozy colors
Snowflakes
Christmas tree or Santa or anything reflecting Christmas
You must use a product sold at Joan's

Here is my card....
I think I have the warm and cozy colors right. My Christmas background paper has Christmas words on it. It is from a DCWV Christmas stack. I inked the edges in Tim Holtz distressed ink in Aged Mahogany. I purchased the ink at Joan's. The vintage Santa is a La Blanche image. It is stamped on La Blanche paper. I purchased both the paper and stamp at Joan's. To colorized the image I used make-up sponges and Tim Holtz distressed ink in Aged Mahogany, Tea Dye, Linen, and Walnut. Then tore the image and curled the image. It was then popped up on the card with pop tape. My snowflakes were cut with a Spellbinders die set in cream and the edges were inked in Walnut. The pine cones and branches were cut from a Spellbinders die set I purchased at Joan's.
A close-up of Santa.
Here is one of the snowflakes.
A view to show the curling and popping of Santa. This paper curls so easy. I just roll it on a pencil.
This is the inside of my card.
