I went on a long road trip yesterday for a visit. So no time to blog. Today I am stuck home doing laundry among other things. But I just had to take time out to bring you my card I created for Joans Challenge Snowman Here is the link to the challenge http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2012/09/this-weeks-challenge_20.html
The challenge requirements are...
Use a tree
Use blue and white colors
Use a corner embellishment
Use a snowman
This is a fun challenge for sure...
Here is my card...
When I saw snowman as a requirement this guy by peachy keen stamps came right to mind. He is such a cutie. I stamped him on bristol board and colorized him with copic markers. I used diamond dust for the fur on his stocking cap. A blue and white dsp is my background. For my tree I used a spellbinders die set. Torn strips of white glitter card stock create the snowy hill he is tubing down. For my corner embellishment I used a cheery lynn die cut from the same glitter card stock as the hill. The dies can be purchased at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
Thanks Selma and Joan for another great challenge!
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
