Good Morning Ladies,
I am home today. I seemed to pick up a flu bug at the dog show this weekend. I have come to that conclusion, because my friend who was there with me is sick also today.
I started a card for Joan's Challenge Red, White, and Blue before I left for the show. I finished it now.
Here are the guide lines we needed to follow when creating our card...
Celebration Card
The colors red, white, and blue
Use stripes
Add a tag
You can see and join the challenge here... http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2012/06/this-weeks-challenge_28.html
Here is my entry....
To create this card I used dsp for the background layers in stripes and stars. Then I took my bristol board, stamps, prisma pencils, gamsol, and stickles to create the pieces to my card. I added glitter around the edges of my flag piece and my tag using liner tape. I tied sewing string onto my tag. The tag was cut using a spellbinders die set.
As I looked at my finished die it hit me. I should have ordered the flip flop border die from Joan. I thought it was a cute die but wondered what I would use it for. Wellllllllllll...now I know. So go over to Joan's and check out the flip flop die.
Thanks for another great challenge Selma and Joan!
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
