Good Morning Ladies,
Rain beautiful rain. That is what we have had through the night and it's still raining this morning. Of course there is a little thunder and lightning with it. But it's all good.
Today I am playing along over at The House That Stamps Built blog challenge. The challenge is to create a outdoors or wildlife scene card. Wildlife and scene was perfect for me. You can see the challenge by clicking on this link.... http://www.thehousethatstampsbuilt.com/designers-choice-challenge/dcc718-outdoors-or-wildlife-challenge/
Here is my card....
To create this card I stamped the blue heron stamp from Repeat Impressions on Bristol board. I then added the water image stamped several times using a paper towel mask. I added the hot sun image. All of these images including the background are colorized using Prisma pencil, Prisma stix, and gamsol. The prisma stix are great for colorizing your backgrounds. They cover a large area fast. My next step was to add the twisting leaves and the cat tails. This panel was layered on a black mat and a grey mat and then adhered to a black card base.
This is the inside of my card.
A fun challenge using a great image from ... http://www.repeatimpressions.com/
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog

Wow, wow, wow!!! What an ipressive scene you've created. I've never heard of the papertowel technique, but it sure creates an awesome effect. Thanks so much for playing along at The House That Stamps Built.
