Good Morning Ladies,
It looks to be another fine day weather wise. I'm not sure what I am up to today. I may end up going to a Saturday market somewhere. Who knows?
Today's project is Sheena Douglas Honesty Journal
This journal was created using a school journal. They are plentiful this time of year. The panel was created using a plain piece of cardstock and a Sheena stencil. The stencil was placed over the cardstock and ink was applied with a stipple brush. It was then sprayed with a gold Tattered Lace spray. The fair maiden and the tree house are from the Sheena Douglas A Little Bit Magical collection. They were stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolor crayons. They were then hand cut and attached to the panel. The word Honesty was then stamped in brown. It is from the same collection. The bottom panel was created using a Spellbinders gold die. It was cut and embossed using the grand calibur. Inka Gold was rubbed on to created texture and to give the look of precious metal guilding. A ribbon was run down the spine to create a bookmark.
A close-up of the panel.
A close-up of the die.
A view of the ribbon on the spine.
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
