Good Morning Ladies,
The weekend was needed. I had some friends over yesterday to play and create. We did just that with paper and donuts starting at 9 AM.
The night before I finished my frame challenge for Joans Garden
http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2011/06/this-weeks-guest-designer.html
Here is my entry....
The frame is from Wal-Mart. I used Tim Holtz cardstock to cover the frame and used it to create my background. The garden gate is cut from an old Mother Goose book from the 40's. The little girl is from a collage pack I purchased several years ago. I turned the little girl into a fairy using the Tim Holtz dragonfly die. The outline of the wings are black cardstock and the background of the wings is textured cardstock with alcohol inks. I used the Tim Holtz tattered flowers die, andirondak ink, and a big button to create the flower at the top of the frame. The butterflies and fence die-cuts are from Cheery Lynn Designs. I took a border and corner stamp inked with anirondak ink for the finishing touch.
This was a fun challenge and a technique I will do again.
Well....off to get ready for my day job...
Happy Scraps,
Mrs. Swandog
