Good Morning Ladies,
Yesterday I marked a few things off of my to do list. I feel pretty good about that. Today I may or may not be so productive.
The card for today is Cat2Stamp
Yes I got my stamp and die set for this months Die Hard Club from the Stamps of Life. Such a fun company! I decided to go with browns and tans for this card. I added a tag and some twine to spice this card up.
This is the inside sentiment.

Here is the link to the challenge..... http://vivalas.blogspot.com/2015/02/february-challenge.html
Here is my card....
All images used on this card are from Viva Las Vegas Stamps. The panel the images were stamped on is watercolor paper. I used a fiber brush and watercolor crayons to paint the background. Archival ink in black and purple dye ink was used to stamp the images. This was fun to do. I don't think I have painted a background this way before but will do it again. The unicorn was stamped using only part of the image. A closer look at the unicorn.
A closer look at the sentiment.

Spring Magic
Good Morning Ladies,
We are upon the weekend already. My goodness does time fly anymore!! It's cold play time so a lot of creating going on during these winter months.
The card for today is Spring Magic
This scene was created using glossy card stock, andirondack ink, and stipple brushes. The image of the little girl is by Jenni Bowling. She is stamped in black archival ink. The sentiment is from Crafter's Companion. It is a Sheena Douglass sentiment. The die cut flowers are cut from a Tattered Lace die. Cosmo Cricket printed card stock covers the card base. The matting around the panel is from the same card stock flipped over. This card is blank inside.
A close-up of the girl and flowers.

Welcome to the Neighborhood
Good Morning Ladies,
We are now to get a cold snap. Winter can go home anytime now. I guess I will have to wait and let mother nature decide when spring will come.
The card for today is Welcome to the Neighborhood
This card was inspired by the couple in the photograph. I believe this photo is from the 50's. This is part of my family I adopted from the antique store. I love to find vintage photos and use them in my work. This photo worked perfect for a center step card. The center step card base and layers was created using a Cheery Lynn die. The DSP is from Tuesday Mornings. Flat back flowers were place along each side. A ribbon graces the bottom of the card.
A close-up of the photo.
The pretty little flat back flowers.
This is the inside of the card. The sentiment is from Peachy Keen.
A side view of the card standing.
I have had people ask for house warming cards. I am still seeking a sentiment for that. But if you are a neighbor this one works perfect.

You're The Best
Good Morning Ladies,
The roads were a little slick and rough last night. But I made it where I was going last night and back again.
The card for today is You're The Best
I was trying a couple of new things on this card. The flower was created using a Heartfelt Creations die. My friend made the flower. She cut the petals out and sprayed them with water. She then inked them and used her flower making kit to mold them. I think they turned out great. The washi tape was another new item. I like the look of it. The die cut on the bottom was cut with a tattered lace die.

Vintage Bee Valentine
Good Morning Ladies,
We have been hit with snow so far. It is a wet heavy snow. I am hoping it is less than they called for. I had a great time with stamping friends yesterday. I am happy to stay home today and watch the snow from my window.
The card for today is Vintage Bee Valentine
This card started out with the German embossed vintage bee cut. The dsp is from a Niki Silvilis 6x6 pad. This card was created using a Sizzix flip-it die. The flowers are from Creative Impressions and the twine is from Fun Stampers Journey.
A close-up of the bee boy.
This is the flip side.
A close-up of the sentiment from the Stamps of Life.
