Tropical Lights

Good Morning Ladies,
I was working on the house yesterday getting it ready for Christmas Eve. I was determined to get the tree up. But of course I was doing it at about 7:30. Half of my led lights are out. So now today we will have to venture out to get new lights for the tree.
The card for today is Tropical Lights
This card was created using the northern lights technique. The background was created using make-up sponges and dye inks. The center of the background was stippled with dye inks. The panel is digital cardstock from Marco's. The palm trees is an image from Stampscapes and the sentiment is from Gina Marie. This card is blank inside for the sender's personal greeting.

Third Stone Christmas Horse

Good Morning Ladies,
I have had a stretch where I have been under the weather for various reasons. I think I am back on track today.
The card for today is Third Stone Christmas Horse
This card was created using a Third Stone Christmas horse image. The horse was stamped on digital cardstock from Marcos. A cheap set of art markers were used to colorize the horse. A pine branch image was stamped on the panel next. This image is from Inkadinkado. The pine branch and background were colorized using a stipple brush and dye inks. The ground and pine branches were accented with stickles.
A close-up of the horse.
This is the inside sentiment from Gina Marie. The horseshoe die cut is from Marianne dies.

CTMH Pint Container Dog Cookies

Good Morning Ladies,
I had more fun at the dog show yesterday. Dud came away with a high in trial. He is such a good boy!
The project for today is CTMH Pint Container Dog Cookies
I like to play with different objects that companies offer. I ordered CTMH pint sized containers from Kathy Anderson. These containers are fun! I sprayed the container with Dylusions ink spray. The container took this medium well. The dog image is from Inky Antics. It was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with the new CTMH watercolor pallet. It was then hand cut and added to the container. Paw print washi tape was wrapped around the lid.
This is the top of the container. The glittered topper is an image from Outlines. The dog was stamped again and only the head was cut out.
This container was then filled with a bag of dog cookies.

Giraffe Colors

Good Morning Ladies,
I had a great day with my sister yesterday. Our lives are so busy anymore we don't get to spend much time together. So no matter what we are doing we have fun.
The card for today is Giraffe Colors
I tried something new on this card panel. I used my new watercolor paint pallet from CTMH. The watercolor paper was wet with my brush. Color from the pallet was dropped in two colors a let run. Then gold Glimmer Mist was sprayed over the entire panel while it was wet. It was set off to dry. Next the giraffe image from Creative Vision was stamped over the panel. I like the way it turned out. The paper that covers the card base is from my old stock.
This is the inside sentiment from CTMH.
